We have been informed that some customers who submitted permit applications through the Accela Citizen Portal may receive a phishing email. Known subject lines of the phishing emails are “Invoice for Application Review and Approval Fee – Immediate Action Required,” “Outstanding Processing Fee Required Prior to Final Approval,” and “Application Review & Approval Fee”. If you receive an email, we recommend updating your password in the Accela Citizen Portal, do not click on any links or download attachments, do not respond or provide any personal information, delete the email, and block the sender. Your account security is important to us, and we are actively monitoring the situation.
